APP_NAME
The APP_NAME environment variable is used to specify the name of your application. This name may be displayed in various parts of the user interface.
You can change the value of APP_NAME to your desired application name. For example:
Database Connection Variables
DATABASE_HOST
The DATABASE_HOST environment variable is used to specify the hostname or IP address of your database server.
DATABASE_PORT
The DATABASE_PORT environment variable is used to specify the port on which your database server is listening.
DATABASE_USER
The DATABASE_USER environment variable is used to specify the username for connecting to your database.
DATABASE_PASSWORD
The DATABASE_PASSWORD environment variable is used to specify the password for connecting to your database.
DATABASE_NAME
The DATABASE_NAME environment variable is used to specify the name of the database you want to connect to.
BetterAuth Variables
We use BetterAuth for authentication in our application. The following environment variables are used to configure BetterAuth:
BETTER_AUTH_SECRET
The BETTER_AUTH_SECRET environment variable is used to specify a secret key for authentication purposes. This key should be a long, random string to ensure the security of your application.
Keep your BETTER_AUTH_SECRET secure and do not share it publicly, as it is used to sign authentication tokens and protect user data.
BETTER_AUTH_URL
The BETTER_AUTH_URL environment variable is used to specify the URL for the authentication service.
Configuration Variables
DISABLE_SIGNUP
The DISABLE_SIGNUP environment variable is used to disable the signup functionality in your application. Set it to true to disable signup, or false to allow users to create accounts.
API_KEYS_LIMIT
The API_KEYS_LIMIT environment variable is used to specify the maximum number of API keys that can be created for a user. Set it to a positive integer value to enforce this limit.
